Who is this training for?

All employees who are required to work at heights and use fall protection equipment in their work environment.
There are no prerequisites for this training.

Description

At the end of this training, the candidate will be able to properly use personal fall protection equipment. This training is based on RRST c. S-2.1, r.13, LSST c. S-2.1, CSTC c. S-2.1, r.4, ASP, APSAM, Académie des pompiers, and Working at Heights laws and standards.

Definitions
Fall-arresting system: harness and lanyard
Inspecting and maintaining fall protection equipment
Required documentation
Handling personal protective equipment
Suspension simulation with a harness
Carrying out a transfer on a horizontal plane
Using a rope grab

Evaluation

One 25-question written exam. The required passing grade is 80%. A supplemental exam is available.
