The prerequisite for this training is “Responding in the Presence of Hazardous Materials: Technical Level.”

Description

This training is based on LSST S-3.4, NFPA 472, Académie des pompiers, and Responding in the Presence of Hazardous Materials laws and standards.

Content

Safety standards and safety rules
Emergency response plan
Concepts and management simulations
Risks, standards, and levels of exposure
Using tools: GMU, MSDS, tactical worksheet

Evaluation

One 25-question exam and an assessment of working knowledge: using a tactical worksheet. The required passing grade is 80%. A supplemental exam is available.
