Who is this training for?

Industrial brigades or any employees who may be required to act as the first response team for a rescue at heights. 
“Fall Protection” training is a prerequisite.

Description

At the end of this training, candidates will be able to perform a rescue using basic equipment and rescue plans, and use victim stabilization techniques. This training is based on NFPA 1006, Chap.5 standards.

Content

  • Handling personal protective equipment
  • Handling stabilization equipment: SKED, rescue seat, half-back harness, stretcher
  • Handling lifesaving equipment: winch, 4:1, rope systems, harness
  • Using a boom lift platform / scissor lift

Evaluation

Working knowledge assessment: packaging a victim
The required passing grade is 80%. A supplemental exam is available.
